Paula Winchester Rank is an attorney at Wade, Grimes, Friedman, Meinken & Leischner, PLLC, practicing family law. Ms. Rank handles all matters of domestic relations cases – divorce, child custody, child support, property distribution, spousal support, protective orders in all jurisdictions of Northern Virginia (Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Loudoun, Prince William, Fauquier, Spotsylvania counties).

Ms. Rank has appeared many times before the Virginia Court of Appeals. She has also been honored as a guest speaker at the Vienna Women’s Center discussing family law-related topics. In addition, Ms. Rank is a trained mediator through Northern Virginia Mediation Services since 2005, and is available to mediate domestic relations disputes.

In addition to Ms. Rank’s family law experience, she has been working on obtaining her CPA license. She received her Certificate of Accounting Careers from Northern Virginia Community College, and is eligible to sit for the CPA exam. She is currently in the process of completing the 4-step exam.

Ms. Rank is passionate about volunteering her time and legal skills to helping low-income clients. She takes on pro bono cases, helping clients on a volunteer basis with domestic violence matters. She also volunteers with the IRS’s V.I.T.A. program preparing tax returns for low-income clients.

Ms. Rank is on the Board of the Capital Area Military Spouses organization. She is well-versed in all issues surrounding military and State Department employee family law matters, as well as those of other federal employees and defense contractors.

She speaks fluent Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Arabic. Ms. Rank has represented many immigrants and others with a diversity of cultural and language backgrounds.
