The results are in – This year’s Virginia and Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers name Partners Carolyn Grimes and Gretchyn Meinken as 2019 Super Lawyers. Partner Jessica Leischner was named 2019 Rising Stars.
This is the 13th consecutive year Grimes is honored as a Super Lawyer, Meinken is recognized for the first year after having been recognized as a Rising Star in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Leischner achieves Rising Star status for the seventh straight year.
Super Lawyers selects outstanding lawyers who attain a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Super Lawyers list represents no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state. The Rising Stars list represents no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state from the pool of lawyers who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
